Getting help doesn’t have to be difficult – just one call or message starts the process.
To find out about getting help from me and how counselling works, I invite you to book a free initial 15 minute introductory call. During this phone call we will discuss what you are hoping to gain from counselling or psychotherapy. I’ll also outline what you can expect from me, including practical aspects. These include; your availability, whether you have a suitable private space for your sessions, fees and my cancellation policy.
Making the decision to get help for your issues is a leap of faith and a good relationship is a crucial part of the counselling process. So this conversation forms an important part of your decision about whether I could be the right therapist for you. I always encourage you to speak to more than one prospective therapist. This enables you to compare and see what feels right for you.

When we have our call you won’t be committing to anything and I won’t ask you to make any kind of instant decision. Following it, if I have space and you’d like to work with me, then we can agree on regular weekly sessions. This would generally be for six weeks initially, at which point we would review our work and discuss next steps.
